Bird House by CI Manasa Priya

Hola!
I am on Prika’s blog today with an inspiration for the current challenge.. With a beautiful pastel mood board with a twist of adding Bling.

The beautiful and Bright Indian Summer is here.. As much as we feel the thirst and sun burns.. the Birds do too. Summer is a crucial time to keep your backyard or balcony birds supplied with water for drinking and bathing. I have decided to remind myself to have a wide mouthed bowl of water in my balcony and made this bird house as a reminder for me to do that everyday all summer.

So, here is my take on the challenge. I chose the colours Blue Grey with a tiny of yellow and orange to my palette.
➤ The Oak wood bird house was from the Little Birdie Wooden Collectibles from Itsy Bitsy.. It is tiny and super cute with a great oak wood finish to it. So, I decided to give it a light waah with the chalk paints in the colour Tiffany Blue and Sailing Sky.
➤ Then I added little green saw dust and wheat husk at random places to give the moss and greens to my project. Later, I embellished with little birdie handmade flowers and pollens along with some yellow shaker stars to go with the challenge colour scheme.
➤ Then I added these amazing premium gold glitter from Expressions Craft in the colour Alaskan Gold. I really love this colour and glitter. So, my mission of adding BLING was complete with this.
➤ I then randomly stamped the musical notes on to the sides to add in some interest using Grey Archival Ink.
➤  The Roof of the bird house is decoupage with a beautiful teal and yellow roses print. And just to add some charm I added a tulle bow over the top near the hanging chord.

So, there you go! I hope you enjoyed looking into this project. Do take part in the Prika Challenge to win fabulous prizes and an opportunity to guest design.
Until next time..
