“Craft Enthusiast”- Ranjitha Sathya

Hello Craftpreneurs,
Another week with another crafter’s story of being an craftprener…..today we have “Craft Enthusiast of the Week…..Ranjitha Sathya” settled in bangalore and a doctor by profession turned crafter making birthday cards for her loved once. She has been quiet lucky to get support from her husband who took interest in help her pursuing crafting.

This is what Ranjitha speaks about her journey as a crafter and her story of being a craftpreneur….
Hello Crafty Friends,
I am a dental surgeon by profession. But I am not currently working as I took a break ever since we had a little daughter. So, I started using the break for crafting and card making. I used to craft a lot as a kid. I used to love surprising my loved ones sending birthday cards. Mainly I used to sketch and do pencil shading a lot.

I shifted to Bangalore after marriage. My husband took me to a craft supply store and knowing my interest used to gift me a lot of craft goodies. Exploring them I started crafting and ever since then it has become my hobby and now business too.

Her Inspiration:
I would follow a lot of craft blogs and youtube videos. I fell in love with paper crafting and different interactive card techniques and card folds, which is still my area of interest and would always love to do it.
Her Most Favourites:
Stamping and die cutting and using them with different card folds.

Her Style of Crafting:
I am a paper crafter with lots of cute critters and flowers in my projects. I prefer keeping my projects simple with bright colours.
Future Plans:
I wish to go way further in card making and be recognised as a brand. I am looking forward to start a workplace of my own where I can conduct craft sessions and introduce crafting to kids from a young age.

Message for All:
I think I’m not experienced enough to advice someone. But, what I feel crafting is a stress reliever and gives us pleasure. So, lay your hands and explore with anything without worrying about the outcome.
We hope u got enough inspiration from Ranjitha and choose your own stress busters in life….and keep crafting…
