Classic Rose Tutorial by Uma Didwania

Myself Uma, as I mentioned before that I have some special love for making flowers and so today I am here on Prika’s blog to share one of my best flower tutorial for making classic roses..I hope you would like it and try making it for yourself…Do share your reviews and clap for the same as it would really make us feel more inspired to keep sharing more and more tutorials to you all.

Let’s begin the tutorial and collect all the requirements at one place:
Materials Required:
# Floral Exotica Paper by Dress my Craft/ Iris Paper
#Water Spray
#Heartfelt Classic Rose Die
#Kitchen Foil
#Strong Glue or Hot Glue Gun
#Twizer
#Distress Ink Pad/Archival Ink

Now since we have got all things in place, let’s begin with step wise tutorial for making these classic roses for your upcoming projects.
Step.1: First take a piece of flower making paper here I use Dress my craft’s floral exotica paper. U can also use iris paper and Spray the water apps. 6–7 sprays on both side.

Step.2: Now crush the paper with your hands and open the paper, Let it dry.

Step.3: Now I cut the paper here I use heartfelt’s classic rose die (big one) . U can also fussy cut it.We will require 5 pieces of same size.

Step.4: Now make a rose bud with kitchen foil and attach a floral wire with the help of any strong glue or hot wax glue.( I m using all fix)
Step.5: Take a first layer of paper and attach it with your rose bud as shown in the pic.
Step.6: Now start attaching petals on the buds.



Step.7: Now coloured it with any colour. Twist the edges of the petals with the help of twizer. U can use distress ink pad as well as archival.


Step.8: Attach the second and 3d layer in the same way.


Step.9: Paste the forth layer and twist it opposite side.



Step.10: Paste 5th layer in same way.

Your flower is ready .
