"Altered Shadow Box Frames" by DT Jaishree Bansal

Heya, beautiful crafters!
This is Jaishree  today on Prika’s blog with another exciting inspirational project for you all. My today’s project is all about layering using various elements and a special focus on Chipboard elements.

Let's gear with list of supplies used:
➤  Shadow boxes 5*7 and 4*4 inches from Prika
➤  Teenie Weenies Pattern Paper from Dress my Craft
➤  Lace from my Stash
➤  Tubby Craft Ink Pads- Mustard Yellow and Raspberry
➤  Chipboards from Mudra - Words 1, Fancy Flourish and Leaves
➤  Mulberry Flowers, buds and Fillers from Dress my Craft
➤  Glossy Accent
Let's now begin with steps of making :
Step:1. To begin with I cut out pattern paper as per the size of my frames. I distressed the edges with distress tool and then with distress ink. I then adhered them.

Step:2. Next I added some lace to add a layer in the background.

Step:3. I used some tubby craft inks and created a border around the edges of my frames using stencils.

Step:4. After this I stuck my two frames together and arranged all the flowers, clay molds and chipboard elements around my small frame.

Step:5. Once I was satisfied with my arrangement I stuck them altogether.

I coloured my sentiment chipboard with tubby craft ink in mustard colour and then highlighted it with glossy accents.
I lastly added some micro beads in gold colour here and there.

Here are some detailed images of the final project.

Hope you liked the project and are inspired to make one yourself and share the same to our ongoing Blog Challenge - Anything Goes- Chippies!!
Until next time!!
