Taking you along with the process of making a Glass Bottle Lamp!
Make a light decoration
The first step was to obtain some empty wine or beer bottles. I needed to remove the labels. Soaking the bottles in hot water makes this step much easier than trying to scrape dry labels off the bottle.After all the labels were off, and the bottle no longer smelled like alcohol, I let it dry over night.
I gathered my supplies.-
#Modge Podge matte finish
#Paper Rope
#Doily Tape
#Fabric Flower
#Stickers
#Bakers Twine
#Owl Charm
The basic steps of the process involved putting a little bit of glue on the circumference of the bottle, placing paper rope over the glue, and holding that part down for some time to make sure that it set enough for me to move on to the next section.!
You can roll up the whole bottle with twine or paper rope but The crafter in me wanted to decorate it …. so I went ahead with keeping the rope as it is with coats of Modge Podge matte finish & added doily papers , ready made fabric flower , Bakers Twine and finally a Owl charm!

With Decoration done, just throw in a strand of lights which you can easily get from any electrical equipment store. These lights are not very expensive either which adds to the fun.
If you have a power drill, get a glass drill bit… I went ahead with not drilling it !! And then plug it to a power source. Easy and enchanting. Wasn’t it?
