"Envelope Flipbook" Step by Step Tutorial by Guest Designer Manasa Priya

Hello Lovely People
Manasa Priya here from Upcycled. I know all of you must be having your heart glasses on.. Yes, this the season of Love.. Happy Valentines everyone ( in advance)
Today I am on Prika’s blog as Guest Designer with this months challenge inspiration — Anything goes: Shades of Love. I have used the colours whites, pinks and a pop of red to go with the theme..

So, this envelope flip book was made for a snail mail. So, I thought why not make it from scratch. The idea if this book was to write notes and save the secret wishes and document all that she is thankful for!
For this project.. You would need some A4 sheets to create envelopes.
Step:1. Fold the paper in half vertically and horizontally into half to form the creases as shown in the picture

Step:2. Now fold the edges half way to touch the line and then fold it again to meet the ends.

Step:3. Fold the bottom as shown in the picture till it reaches the flap like thing.

Step:4. Now insert the flap into the side edges to form a pocket
And then the envelope is ready.

Step:5. I have made four of these envelopes and attached the flaps by overlaying on each other and made a flip book which has pockets.
Now using the Craft treat roses paper pack I covered all the sides in white and pink prints to go with the challenge theme.

Step:6. Then I cut few tags from Icraft Mayura Paperpack and added them in various pockets and sides.

Step:7. Have also fussy cut and embossed some Icraft papers and added the sentiment Thankful.
And finally finished it off using some flowers from Itsy Bitsy and wrapped with a twine and did some stamping. It is as simple as that.

I hope you enjoyed watching this simple pictorial.
Until next time..
