Hello,
I am Kirti Gupta, Bangalore based full time crafter, working under my own brand name Kirti's Kraft Kastle.
Paper Crafting came to me as part of family tradition. Back then, when I was around 6 years old, I had seen my mother sending handmade notes to near and dear ones on special occasion. I too became part of it and learned about the beautiful purpose of crafting.
So, that’s where Paper crafting was introduced to me. This tradition was so deeply rooted that during 8 years of long-distance relationship with my then boy-friend and now husband, he never received a single Archies/Hallmark card (all were handmade).
Being from a small town, I never imagined that crafting could be a profession, it was always a hobby and a gesture to express feelings. After getting married and serving as lecturer of law for almost 5 years, I realised my true passion lies in creating.
To display my Arts, Crafts & Diy I started my page Kirti’s Kraft Kastle in July 2015. The album that I had made for my son, caught unexpected attention and appreciation and that was the point I decided to make it a profession. Since, then there is no looking back.
The journey till now had been a very fulfilling experience for me. I am learning and evolving every time with new opportunities. I believe, Art comes straight from heart when you feel connect with it.
I was shy to display my work on crafting portals, and never opened up much. But recently I have gathered up much courage about my way of crafting and have participated in few challenges and have won a few contests and attracted attention from crafting buddies.
About my Crafting style:
Scrapbooking is my Forte, I tend to incorporate various paper layout techniques in my Scrapbook & mini albums. Sometimes I use mixed media for covers of my scrapbooks which is quite a favourite amongst my clients. My Proficiency in Stamping and colouring helps me to work around theme of my albums.
Name plates designed using various art techniques like clay art, Abstract art, Mixed media and decoupage is my another super hit product amongst my clients. I have also created diaries, Planners and journals, on demand for my clients.
With the given opportunity I have also tried card making, Decoupage, bottle art, trinket designing, canvases, tags, home decor products on MDF.
