Altered Tin Jug by Prika

Hi Crafty Peeps,
Welcome to Prika's Blog, So since u all know we are running through "The Crafty Superstar-2019" .... I could not hold myself to create an Inspiration for you all. I have done this altered project as a home decor and can be decorated further with some handmade peonies lying next to it. I just love decorating my space with handmade flowers and all....

Let's begin with quick steps of making as well as products used to create the same:
I have taken this tin jug left unused in my house so I though to turn into some piece of decor  for my home. I have gone ahead to paint the base with White Gesso.

I have used following products to complete my project.
➤ Chalk Paints from Itsy Bitsy
➤ Varnish from Itsy Bitsy
➤ Decoupage Rice Paper from Stamperia
➤ Mod Podge
➤ Tim Holtz Stencil
➤ Mudra Script Stamp
➤ Black, Touch me Not Archival Ink
➤ Paint Brush

After the Gesso is dried completely, I have painted the Jug with Light Pink Chalk Paint. (applied 2 coats to cover all base using a sponge)
After drying, gone ahead to tear the rice paper as required and placed on the jug using Mod Podge and paint brush.
Leave everything to dry once and finished thew edges of rice paper on jug with Wipped Cream colour Chalk Paint.
I have used the Tim Holtz stencil and blue archival  ink to create some texture on it. Also adding some script text using Mudra stamp and black archival ink.
Let every thing dry overnight and finish your lovely home decor project by coating some varnish to preserve from dust and dirt. And it's ready to be flaunted.
Here's some close up picture:
