Altered Mixed Media Bottle by CI Jaishree Bansal

Hello Crafty Peeps,

Wish you all a very happy holi!

On this colourful occasion I have created a mixed media bottle as an inspiration for you all based on our colourful mood board.

Supply Used:

➤ White heavy body gesso — Expressions craft

➤ Heavy body gel — expressions craft

➤ White crackle texture paste — Prima Marketing

➤ Mini Art stones — Prima Marketing

➤ Deco stones Medium — expressions craft

➤ Impasto paints poppy red and lemon peel — Prima Marketing

➤ Chalk Paint deep teal — expressions craft

➤ Chalk paint seaside villa — folkart home décor

Steps of Making:

To begin with I covered the bottle with one coat of heavy body gesso white. Once dried I applied a thick coat of white crackle texture paste randomly all over the bottle.

I applied the clay molds with the help of heavy body gel. Along with it I added some art stones in micro mini size and medium size around the molds. I also mixed some micro mini art stones in white crackle texture paste and applied it all over the remaining areas of the bottle.

Lastly, I coloured using chalk paints and impasto paints as per the current mood board. Once dried, I dry brushed with white gesso all over the bottle. I enhanced the focal points using some white pearl wax. To bring in the bling I added some golden glitter around my focal points.
