Always and Forever : Mixed Media Layout by DT Jaishree Bansal

Hello beautiful crafters,

This is DT member Jaishree! I have for you all a mixed media layout based on this month’s challenge mood board. Using blues and browns was a complete challenge for me as a person and crafter as I mostly work with dark metallic colours or completely pastel ones for my layouts.

I have used back designer paper for my first layer and a vintage brown for my main layout layer. I added teal blue and bluish grey colour in the background of the focal image along with some texture paste with stencilling and lots of stamping here and there.

I embellished with mulberry flowers both roses and poppies along with some flourish and leaves die cuts. I also used some natural jute cord behind my floral arrangements to add some more depth and interest.
