Here we are with quick, simple and fun handmade cards….with stencil backgrounds to offer you some quick inspiration for our ongoing blog challenge.
These are two different sets of cards done for you all….
A) Hello Summer Birthday Card
Inspired by the summer and heat we only missed ourselves to be on a beach and have some fun….Here’s a card with some beach fun and birthday wishes all together..and a shaker element….
Supplies Used:
# White Card Stock from Dress my Craft
# Acetate Sheet
# Circle Die by Little Birdie
# Stamp Set by Little Birdie
# Arichival Inks Black, Pale Ochre
# Distress Oxide Broken China
# Shaker Beans and Sequins
# Koi Watercolour Brush Pens
# Bubbles Stencil by Little Birdie
Step.1: Take 6*7 inch card and another peice of cardstock with 5.75*6.75 inch size to make top layer of the card. We have stamped all the elements from stamp set on another piece of cardstock using black archival ink.
Step.2: With the stencil create some bubble background on the 5.75*6.75 inch card stock using broken china distress oxide and pale orche archival ink.
Step.3: Take another circle cutout of cardstock, acetate sheet and top layer to create your own shaker also colouring all the elements stamped earlier using watercolour brush pens…and stamping a quote “hello summer” as below.
Step.4: Place everything together filling the shaker sequins and sparkles inside to shake and stick together.
Step.5: Stamp on below your happy birthday sentiment message and your card is ready to shake off the summer and heat.
B)”Have a Purrfect Birthday” Card
Here’s another layout a little quirky and fun for sending some lovely and cute birthday wishes to your loved once.
Supplies Used:
# White Card Stock
# Stamp set by Little Birdie
# Koi Watercolour Brush Pens
# Black, Sweet peony Archival Ink
# Peacock feather Distress Oxide
# Rainbow Glitter by Dress my Craft
# Glossy Accents
# Star stencil Background by Little Birdie
Step.1: Take card size as above and using the stamp set, stamp down all the elements required using black archival ink.
Step.2: Create star background just below the circle cutout on top layer of the card also coloring it with blend of both colours.
Step.3: Colour all the stamps elements using koi watercolour brush pens and fussy cutout…also adding some glitter to them using glossy accents.
Step.4: Assemble all together to complete the card as shown below u can also look into the youtube video to see all the steps done to create these cards.
