Hello Craft Friends,
This was an old wooden box that I got from someone as a diwali hamper holding some nice aroma tea tins and few aromatic candles…it was indeed a unique gift but I could not throw away the box since it was huge and thought of keeping it to some good use.
Supplies Used:
#Chalk Paints from Little Birdie
#Paint Brush
#Mandala Stencil from Craft Expressions
#Decoupage Tissue from Little Birdie
#Decoupage Glue from Little Birdie
#Foam Sheet
#Oil Pastels
#Glue Gun
#Silicon Glue
#Distress Oxide Ink pad
Let’s see some more about the box, i am just waiting to keep my nice jewellery into the box soon.
I began with sanding the box using a sand paper and then applying 2 coats of chalk paints in two different shades to compliment each other.
After using the decoupage glue added all the floral textures on the top and inside part of the lid, and creating some amazing foam flowers using foam sheet and oil pastels colors to add some colour to the flowers. This was my first trial on making foam flowers…I hope it looks good from a beginner.
Finally added some texture using Distress Ink Pad- Seedless Preserves also adding the manadals to all the sides.
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you like it and may be an ispiration to try on your own.
Much Love
Prika
