Altered Wine Bottle-Home Decor by Prika

Hello Crafty Friends,

Here’s another inspitation for you to create your own creative projects for upcoming blog challenge for March. We have these empty wine bottles lying in the backyard for so long, that me and my mom together thought of turning it into a decorative planters to put in our house balcony.

Never thought it would turn out to be this good that we dropped the idea of keeping it outside and now it became an decor piece for our living room.

Here are some more details if u wish to try your hands on doing some for yourself.

Supplies Used:

#Gesso from Little Birdie

#Chalk Paint from Little Birdie

#Various Tissue Designs

#Decoupage Glue from Little Birdie

#Craft Rope

#Glue Gun

#3D Liners

Began with coating the bottles with a smooth layer of gesso so that chalk paint applies evently on complete surface. After drying applied two coats of different shades of chalk paints on each bottle.

Let the paint dry and later we will begin to apply our tissue designs on each one using decoupage glue.

Will will finally add jute ropes using glue gun to give it a nice look and finally adding little white texture to the ropes.

And our own home decor pieces are ready to flaunt, bet me people will do ask how u made it…:)
