Easy Shabby Card + Video by CI Shweta Tapsi Khode

Welcome to Prika blog! This is CI Shweta here with a new inspiration project on the September challenge theme - Birds, Bees and Butterflies.

Today I have a video tutorial on a shabby card to share with you all. This card features the Life Stories Collection paper pack from Mintay which I received in my complimentary welcome kit from Prika. And I fell in love with it at first sight. The papers are so so good, it has a nice rustic look to it.

Let's have a look at the supplies I used and the process in brief:

• Mintay Paper Pack
• Prika Butterfly Element Sheet Pack
• Prima - Stamp, Art Stones
• Mudra chippies
• Little Birdie - Soft Gel Medium, Black Gesso, Silicon Glue
• Distress Ink - any brown shade

I cut two colour coordinated papers from the paper pack, one smaller than the other and distressed the smaller one with scissors and distress ink. I fussy cut a lot of elements from the paper pack and distressed them too.

I then stamped on the paper using Prima background stamp and splattered some black gesso. Then proceeded to pasted this smaller paper on the bigger one using double sided foam tape.

I then formed a composition of all the fussy cut elements, die cuts, chippies and handmade flowers. Added 2 fussy cut butterflies from Prika's element sheets. Also added pearl string, art stones and a sentiment.
