I am feeling truly honoured for getting the chance to share my creation on this big platform.

I want to thank team PRIKA for showing trust in my work.

Here I am sharing an inspiration for you for the ongoing JUNE BLOG CHALLENGE: "Quoted"

I am making a Vintage wall hanging on a wooden plank with the quote "Sometimes you just need to disconnect and enjoy your own company". I truly believe in this quote. I am sharing a pictorial for the same. 
Hoping you all like it.

Here we start:

Step:1.  I am using a wooden plank as my base and I have selected a decoupage paper that goes with my concept.

Step:2. I have cut the paper to fit on the plank and then I have adhered the paper with decoupage art glue (mod podge). Let it dry for 15 mins.

Step:3. Once it's dried, I have decided to use 2 stencils from (craftgully.com) with the texture paste from (craftgully.com).

Step:4. I have taken a printout of the quote and tore the words as I did not want a sharp cutout. Then I distressed them with archival ink and adhered with art glue. Further distressing the background to give a vintage effect.

Step:5. I have used antique wax at the edges of the wood to give a complete look.

Then lastly decorated with a bunch of flowers and our beautiful vintage wall hanging is ready.
