"Happy Birthday" Handmade Card by CI Kavya NK

Hi folks!

I am excited to share my second project for this month’s challenge… here is my take on creating a subtle background using distress inks. 

For this card you will need :

• Background stamp 
• Distress inks
• Black card stock
• White and gold embossing powder
• Embossing ink
• Frame dies 
• Stamps of your choice 
• Color pencils 

Lightly stamp your background on some white card stock and emboss it white or clear

 Distress it in the centre using colours of your choice

Emboss some gold flowers on black card stock and colour them using colour pencils! This creates a chalky look..

Stack frames like shown below

Arrange the elements and stick them once you are happy

For my sentiment, I ended up hand lettering it instead 

Voila! A quick and simple card using things you might already have in your stash. I can’t wait to see what you all create :)
