This is what Suzna speaks about her journey as a crafter and her story of being a craftpreneur….
Hi everyone, I am Suzna from Hyderabad India an engineering graduate with passion for Art and Craft. I live with my husband and 5yr kid and not to forget mentioning about my non-stop, expanding craft supplies. I am basically from Kerala, settled in Hyderabad.
I have been crafting since I was little... glass painting, sand painting art on velvet cloth, twisting wire tree and quite a few kinds of other crafts, I used to give my handmade gifts to my collage friends, but lately around 5yrs back I found my way to mixed media and paper crafting being the most interesting and relaxing one to choose for as it allows me to preserve memories as well as create home decorations.
How it’s all started? (My Crafting Journey!)
I began to start watching craft related Youtube videos (6year back) and inspired from it, engaged myself doing canvas painting, making 3D cards, albums with my old collection of greeting cards, marriage invitations, gift wrap papers since back that time I had barely any idea on sourcing the craft supplies.
What Inspired me?
Design team members ( All over the world), Design papers and other beautiful craft related supplies inspired me to use/make some pretty stuffs.
My Most Favourite Crafts of All?
Most favourite creation of mine is "Cabinet box Miniature Room"
.. and some more of my works.... which I do love....
My style of crafting?
My style is colourful, mixed media, altered art, paper craft, lots of flowers, butterflies..... I end up making as Garden....
My Future Plans?
Nothing serious plan in my head :) I just want to be happy, want to create more and I wish to gifting more handmade gifts to my friends and my families who have been always their to support me and encourage me in all times....
Message for all Craft Buddies!
Wait.... You want inspiration msg from me? right ???
I would like to share something. My first ever paper craft work. Just a 5 yr old one and my latest one too :)
Can you see the difference ? Yes it is
Make it from the heart..Keep making....your brain will give you more ideas more designs and gift your handmades to your besties ... make them happy...
That was my first step. When I feel my work is unique or something perfect I start selling my handmade creations :)

A quick inspiration : " Easy Way on Rivet Locking"
Here I bring you all an quick and easy way of creating rivet locking for your upcoming projects...
Step:1. To begin I took 12x12" 300 GSM Black Cardstock and A4 cotton paper (recently I purchased from Itsy Bitsy store) for easy binding I choose 6 ring binder clip.
Step:2. I am designing my album size is 7.25X10.25x1.5" based on the binder clip height and length.
Step:3. I went ahead to cut the black cardstock length of 10.25 inch and further scored the line at 7.25"........8.45"... of paper.
Step:4. After that I attached binder clip (like rivet locking )
Step:5. Then I stick my cotton paper on 2 sides (only inside). Reason for using cotton paper, I have seen cotton stuffs inside the lather covered diaries which I loved very much and got inspired to try on my own. And I found this colour to be a perfect match to my Black Cardstock album.
Step:6. Last step is to design the cover part and add the pages. Like photo sleeves, layouts etc....
You may find binding part a little difficult. Since rivet locking is not easy without locking tool ( We r memory keepers have the tool ) but u can surely try this way to create your own albums...
I hope u like my idea
Thank you for stopping by to know more about me :)
