Shadow Box Frame by CI Shweta Tapsi Khode

Hey people!

Shweta here today with a new inspiration project on this month's challenge theme - Quoted.

I've made a beautiful shadow box adorned with beautiful handmade flowers.

List of Supplies used:

➤ ICraft chalk paints: Rich Rouge, Rose Debut

➤ Little Birdie One Step Crackle Medium

➤ Prika Handmade Flowers

Here's a quick pictorial for you....

I grabbed an 8*8 inches shadow box and an MDF frame - both from Prika and gave a coat of Rich Rouge chalk paint from ICraft to both. I covered only the borders of the shadow box and left the inner part as I'll be pasting a pattern paper there later.

After it dried out, I covered it generously with Little Birdie's One Step Crackle Medium.

I let it dry and then gave a coat of Rose Debut chalk paint. It started cracking as it begun to dry and here's the beautiful outcome.

I then cut and pasted a coordinating pattern paper on the inner part of the shadow box. Also, pasted an oval shaped tag in the frame.

Then adhered some die cuts and handmade flowers from Prika where I wanted them to be. Also added a cage chippie, a bird and some twine with pearls. Lastly added a quote to finish it.

I hope this inspires you enough to try your hands at something like this.
