Hello Spring: Mixed Media Hanging by CI Jaishree Bansal

Hello beautiful crafters, 

Jaishree this side! Today I have for you a beautiful mixed media project dedicated to spring time. I have created this one with tons of metal embellishments, flowers and newly launched prima waxes. 

• List of supplies used:
  ➤ 8” mdf panel circular
  ➤ Black heavy gesso — expressions craft
  ➤ Round Resin Frame — DMC
  ➤ Rusty Red, Emerald green and wild fuchsia mettalique paint — Prima
  ➤ Mega and micro stones — prima
  ➤ Vintage gold, rose gold, bronze age, firebird & Indian pink waxes — prima finnabair
  
  
  
  
  I began with covering my base with black gesso.
• I then adhered small chipboard pieces on the background forming a brick wall.
• I next adhered my resin circular frame. And covered everything in black gesso again.
• Once I was satisfied with what embellishments to put where, I coloured them in black gesso and then adhered them into its place.
• Then I added some micro and mega art stones to fill in some spaces using art gel medium matte.
• Then, I coloured everything with impasto and metallic paints form prima in the shades of pink, red rust and emerald green.
• Post that I adhered my chipboard sentiment hello spring covered in black gesso.
• Lastly, I enhanced the high points using the prima waxes.
