"LOVE" Mixed Media Mini Canvas by Prika

Hello to all my craft buddies,

This time I have spotted some place for myself in the challenge inspiration project and as the challenge says 'Shades of Love" I have some what managed to create these little mini mixed media layouts for you all using the colour palette and it has to shout out loud... "LOVE".

So, here's a quick step by step tutorial as well for you all to try making some mini mixed media layouts on your own..since u never learn before you try!!

Let's begin with some list of supplies used:

# Chipboard cutout measuring 5*5 inches and small strips measuring 5*1.5 inches 

# Canvas Cloth 

#Clear Gesso

# Mudra Stencil 

# Ranger Texture Paste

# Little Birdie Colour Splash Hot Pink 

# Little Birdie Chalk Paint Misty Rose and Pink Ballet

#Ink Pad Flayered Burlap

# Heart MDF Cutout 

# Laces from my stash 

# Little Birdie Handmade Flowers 

# Glossy Accent 

# Cadence Mixed Media Stones

# Glue Gun

Now let's being with all steps of making this layout:

Step.1: To begin with I have taken the chipboard bases and glued the Canvas Cloth to get my mini canvass ready to use. Also covered them with clear gesso and let it dry for over night. Same I did to the strips to be used later for layering. 

Step.2: Taking my stencil from Mudra Stamps I will begin to  add some textures to my canvas using the Texture Paste and dry it out using heat tool.

Step.3: Take the Colour splash and add little bit on the mini canvases to add some colour further mist them with water to have some balance. Add some more colour using chalk paints in the canvas background as well as strips to have some combinations from the palette. Cover all edges with Flayered Burlap Ink Pad. 

Step.4: Now comes the Chip board cutouts saying LOVE to I have taken a MDF Cutout for the Heart and painted all of them using the same chalk paint. 

Step.5: We will go ahead to ass some more textures to our canvas bases as well the alphabets to add some more dimensions also adding some lace pieces around edges. 

Step.6: We will paste all the letter's on the base using glue gun and now time to add some flowers. 

Step.7: We have taken some flower from our stash and some of the roses from little birdie pack of handmade roses. 

Step.8: Further will add some mixed media stones to other two canvas with strips placed on them. 

And our mini canvas are ready screaming out LOVE.....here's some close look:
