This is what Madhu speaks about her journey as a crafter and her story of being a craftpreneur….

Hello my dear friends,
First of all, it’s such an honor to be a part of Prika- All About Crafts Blog, I am so excited! Thank u so much Priyanka for providing me such a big platform to showcase more about myself and my talent! I feel blessed.
I had never imagined I would be a crafter someday!
My name is Madhu Bairoliya and I am a happy mother of 2 lovely sons. I live in DARBHANGA (Bihar) which is a place also known as mithilanchal.
Since childhood, I have always been attracted to art and craft work. I have also participated in all the related competitions and challenges during my school days. Before my marriage, my mother and my sisters have always motivated me for continuing painting and improving my creativity.
By luck and god’s grace, After marriage (1997) I entered a large joint family with many members (I lived with 4 in-laws and their kids) who loved the work of hands and always appreciated my creativity. I was highly appreciated and motivated by my husband and his family.
This is another reason why I love my family. However, I decided to be a full time mother and home-maker after my children’s birth. Later my family persuaded me to join my husband with business, but i was still having my heart in the arty-crafty objects. After being free from business, managing house and kids, I used to paint bedsheets, do card making, make shagun envelopes for gifting to my loved ones.
Now I am completely into this beautiful artistic world full of flower making, paper folding which makes me love this work. Crafting is a passion for me and this passion is my strength. I love creating and spreading my passion amongst my fellow crafters. Crafting is not an activity for me but a way of life.
How it's all started? (My Crafting Journey!)
I initially started crafting, to keep myself engaged. But with time, that developed into passion. All along my journey, my sisters and my sister-in-law encouraged and supported me to follow my dreams.
I started crafting professionally since October 2016.

What Inspired Me?

Well, Inspiration comes when you are associated with the people who encourage your work. I would like to thank my husband, my in-laws and my 4 sisters who are always behind my inspiration, enthusiasm and success. They always encourage and support me, which uplifts my confidence to next level. Specially the credit goes to the social media where i found contact of Dr. Sonia and Sampada who gave me the idea of making my craft page on social media, called
“ MADHU’S CREATIONS (where talent turns into skill)”.
My Most Favourite Crafts of All?
Oh my goodness, this is the most difficult question for me. I love everything related to colors.
As I feel flower making gives me different kind of happiness, i have own background page with colours for cards scrapbooking and decoupage. I love to learn and try out different art forms all the time.
“play with colours and try different colour combination is my motto”

My Style of Crafting?
I love experimenting with new styles when it comes to crafting. I always try to create from my heart and soul. I always look around and observe for new inspirations and ideas. After all nature is the most beautiful piece of art amongst all.
My Future Plan?
There are no creativity and extracurricular classes in my town. It’s a dream to have my own craft studio in my town where I could offer workshops for others to learn and pursue crafting n baking.
My aim with my handmade skills is to establish my own venture and provide opportunity to women who want to make their own mark and presence in this world. I want to spread and share my skill with all. The studio in my town would be a place where I could spread happiness and knowledge both at the same time.

Message for All!
Always be confident about your project and implementation technique. Trial and error method is my secret. Don’t be afraid to try creative ideas. I firmly believe if u apply your ideas without any fear of wasting the material or the outcome you may come up with far better project than your imagination.
Once I was in Bangalore for 15 days it was very difficult to pass the time because I did not like to sit idly. So I bought some acrylic colors and watercolor paper and hand cut the flowers and used empty coline spray bottles for spraying the colors and water. That time mattress and towel was my embossing pad, compass was my golf tool and bollpen cover was my embossing tool. As a result, i made so many useful and pretty flowers and leaves. So never fear or hesitate to try and spread your idea and enthusiasm.
I believe “WHERE THERE IS A WILL THERE IS A WAY”.
