“Craft Enthusiast”-Shubhangi Vibhandik

Hello Craftpreneurs,
With crafts being in life, time flies and each comes to an end with another month and here we are with an inspiring story of another crafter….“Craft Enthusiast of the Week…..Shubhangi Vibhandik” a MBA in finance, a homemaker and mother of 7 years old….and after all this in her bucket she continues to live her passion for crafts. Travelling a lot to many cities has been exploring her creativity in different ways. Let’s know more about her journey of being an craftprenuer, her passion, and some of her amazing projects she had worked upon.

This is what Shubhangi speaks about her journey as a crafter and her story of being a craftpreneur….
Thanks Priyanka for giving me this opportunity. Myself Shubhangi from Bangalore. I am native of a small city Dhule from Maharashtra. I am a full time home maker and a mom of 7 years old boy.I have pursued my graduation in Horticulture followed by M.B.A.in Finance.
I love listening songs while working. Crafting is my love and passion. It is a stress buster for me. I love to try new things in my crafting .Now I am living in Bangalore from last one year. I started my craft journey almost 2 years before when I was in Delhi.

I have always had a flair of crafting since my childhood. I used to make cards on special occasions for my friends and relatives.
I was also good in drawing, painting, rangoli making, etc. I have won almost all the competitions related to art. My father always supported me and now my husband is there to support me. Lucky me.
Almost 2 years back,i made an explosion card for my husband on his birthday and I posted it on one of the FB group. People appreciated and praised my work and asked me to take orders, online classes. That incident kicked off my crafting journey.
But at that time I had no idea about scrapbooking, mixed media and all. I made one explosion card only by seeing images. And thus,my crafting journey started….

Her Inspiration:
I always wanted to try new things in crafting and this willing kept me inspiring always. It’s really difficult to find time for your hobby when you are a full time home maker and a mother. But the passion for crafting keeps pushing me to find time for crafting.
Her Most Favourites:
I like all the things related to art and crafts. Though it may be scrapbooking, card making, mixed media, decoupage or up-cycling. But I love scrapbooking and mixed media mostly. Because I can try new techniques in mixed media.
Her Style of Crafting:
I try to keep my projects simple but unique and different from other projects. I try to fulfill customer’s all the expectations.

Future Plans:
I would like to learn more skills and want to work towards perfection. I would love to conduct my own craft classes and one of my wish is to work as a design team member.
Message for All:
I will say try try but don’t give up. Keep trying whatever your heart desires. Fix your priorities ,make your own time management and find time for crafting.
And for sure crafting needs a lot of patience, so try to be patient…….
We hope Shubhangi has been an inspiration to you all to find time to keep your creative instinct alive and manage your time to keep crafting….since its always an issue with crafter’s…..more crafts to do but lesser time….and have patience…thats the key to achieve things in life…
