Valentine’s Day is around just around the corner and Love is in the air. I am sure you are thinking of ways to surprise your beloved.
Well, I surely am getting ready for another special day of Love. Here is a fun idea to wrap some love notes or your loved ones favorite candies.
Let’s get into the tutorial of these easy boxes that you can do it yourself.
Step.1: All you need is some paper, scissors, scoring tool or knife, Ruler ,Bone folder and some sharpies. Take patterned paper or any regular card stock of the size 7.5” by 7.5”
Step.2: Now score lines measuring at every 1.5” horizontally. Turn the paper vertically now and score at 1”, 1.5” and 2” on both the sides. Refer the below picture so you would be sure if what I mean.
Step.3: Now, do a mountain fold along the horizontally scored lines
Step.4: Turn on the opposite side and cut the edges in triangles, when opened leaves small diamonds this way.
Step.5: Now fold along the vertical lines scored at 1”, 1.5” and 2” before in accordion style on both sides
Step.6: Now cut both the edges to form triangles
Step.7: All you have to do now is put everything together using the glue.
Step.8: Fill notes or candies if your choice and tie ribbons on both the edges to give it a candy box shape.
Step.9: Go wild with your imagination, Pretty it up using embellishments, laces etc and you are all done making these easy leash chocolate boxes.
