We bring you another featured crafter in talk today "Craft Enthusiast of the Month : Hiral Vaidya" .... placed in Canada, and even being on a profession role, takes her rest of time to keep the artist alive in her....she admits to have head over heals in love with papers.... it a inseparable passion for her now..... Let's quickly scroll below to know more about the crafting journey of our featured crafter for the month...
This is Hiral from Toronto, Canada and I am a User Experience Researcher by profession. I am also an artist by nature and crafter by passion. I love preserving memories in keepsakes and that is how I started making Scrapbooks/mini albums. I love the idea of handmade gift giving - a unique way of expressing love and that resulted in me making all occasion cards.
I loved only 3 things since my childhood – Papers...Papers...Papers...And the journey started. I used to make Origami crafts when I was 5 and more and show it to my parents, relatives and friends. My parents knew I have a creative soul and never stopped me of doing something I like. At the later age (after marriage), my hubby supported me to bring that creative soul out in public and pursue my passion in handmade crafts.
How it’s all started? (My crafting Journey)
I came to Canada after marriage back in 2015 and started part time job. Crafting has always been inseparable part of my life since my childhood. In my spare time, I started watching YouTube videos of some well-known crafters and began my journey by creating first Explosion Box for my husband. Well, I should admit the box I created was not even 1% of what I create now but this is how it all started. Looking at other inspirations, my heart started thinking more and more detailing in scrapbooking and card making. Now I love anything and everything related to handmade paper crafts.

My Most favourite crafts of all?
It’s hard to choose one or two but - My recent Love Mini album, Mother’s Day Explosion Box, Valentines card for my hubby, A shaker birthday card
Card-making and Scrapbooking (Mini albums/Explosion boxes)
My Future Plans?
Since I started crafting, my goal is to have a brick and mortar where people can explore handmade gifts, select and bring a smile on someone’s face in the form of gifting.

A quick Inspiration : “Heart Shaped Propose Explosion Box"

As I used a die to create Explosion box, it’s hard for me to give measurements. Hope you will find it inspiring.
