Colors of Love- An Art Journal page by CI Kirti Gupta

Hello Everyone,

Welcome to another Inspiration Post by me, Kirti Gupta..
It's the season of love and we can already feel the love in the air. I too wasn't spared with this magical essence of love and I took this opportunity to explore my feelings for my Love...

And here is what  have been able find. We have been in love for 18 years and all I could see the different colours of emotions which only added to the beauty of our relationships.

I believe my art is an expression of my innermost feelings. On the bright canvas of my life, Those multicolor flowers reflect the different emotions which we have shared in our journey together.

I am so glad we found our love in each other. There could have been no other.

Don't forget to share your take on our theme and win fabulous prizes by our amazing Sponsor Papericious.

Kindly go through the stepwise instructions here to know, How I have made it.

Step 1: First I primed my Page with Artist's Gesso

Step 2: Then I used Craftreat's Background Stencils for some textured backgrounds

Step 3: I have also used Craftreat's Clock stencil to create background for my Picture part

Step 4: I did some random fleur Stamping on  my page with help of distress Ink

Step 5: Later, I added a layer of yellow chalk paint and used wipes to lighten it while it was wet.

Step 6: I stamped and painted some Mudra Florals and coloured them with the help of Camel Water colours and later fussy cut them.

Step 7: When the chalk paint layer was dried I added some lindy's colour drippings on one side.

Step 7: I used some lindy's colours and water mist to colour background for my picture.

Step 8: Later I added some splatters with black gesso.

And finally I created my Layout with doilies, Die-cuts, and fussy cut elements

The image I used is a candid moment which was clicked by my son on our 10th anniversary and perfectly sums our love. Since that day, I wanted to create something to preserve this beautiful moment and finally I did it..

I would love to hear from you all what do you feel about this Journal page and blogpost??
See you next time!
Till then, Keep Crafting...

Love,
Kirti
