"Friendship" Card Tutorial by CI Kavya NK

Hello Lovely Fellas,
Hope you all are super excited to be the part of the Crafty Superstar Challenge-2019, by making and sharing any choice of your projects you like... Here I am with an minimalistic yet gorgeous handmade card tutorial as an inspiration for u all to try making.
Let's have the list of supplies to grab before we begin:

➤ Black Acrylic paint
➤ 110lb card-stock
➤ Color Pencils (any brand works!) and
➤ Pearl Embossing Powder
➤ Versamark
➤ Heat Gun
➤ Hot glue gun
➤ Twine
➤ and any stamp you like!
Step:1. For the chalkboard paper, paint black acrylic paint (or any colour!) on a 110 lb card stock.

Keep the strokes quite random so it looks natural.
Step: 2. For the stamping, I will be using pearl embossing powder. I have used white embossing powder in the past but I like the look of the pearl one better. To make it more interesting and shiny, don’t use a static tool. Just stamp the images with versamark Embossing ink directly.

If you notice closely, some of the embossing powder sticks to the paper and creates a shimmer!
I used stamps from Simon says spring collection. I stamped the leaves after stamping the flowers using masking technique.

For colouring the flowers, I felt my staedtler color pencils worked better than Prisma or Faber Castell. They looked more chalky and lighter than the other brands.

To create a focal point, I used some twine. I also created my own enamel dots using a hot glue gun! They are so simple to make and I can literally paint them any colour!

Stick the panel on a card and add some sentiments! There you go — a chalky look created with minimal supplies!

I hope you liked this tutorial :) Looking toward to seeing all the wonderful creations.
Thanks,
Kavya
